LabAffiliate - INSTALLATION AND DEMONSTRATION

Evil Genius walks you through the installation and use of LabAffiliate.

LabAffiliate allows for the creation of a monetization relationship between a Master Site and any number of Sub Sites. Now it is possible to create a main portal site for all members to join, which then provides them with automatic access and membership to any number of Sub Sites.

The Master Site owner can set a general membership fee for "all access" to the Sub Sites, and can also track and report upon all members who are sent to the Sub Sites. When used in conjunction with the multiple-user levels of SocialGO, one is now able to charge a general membership fee to gain access to multiple affiliated SocialGO sites, while still allowing each site owner to upsell their own premium content or features on each Sub Site.

Because the Master Site owner and Sub Site owners both have access to all the membership data created through LabAffiliate, this allows for all parties to know at all times exactly how much is owed in affiliate revenue between the parties. A great way to pool resources between related sites.

    @Kiro

    All our products are sold as widgets in the WidgetStore you have in your premium site Admin Center... there is no "code".

    Cheers,

    Does each site require a widget?
    How does this differ from labconnect? Do you need both?

    @Iceman

    Each site requires a copy of LabAffiliate and LabConnect.

    The difference is simple:

    1) LabConnect allows you to have one universal login for all sites that is based on the primary login you create from directing members to the Master Site

    2) LabAffiliate allows you to use the Master Site as a universal "portal" to market and attract new members who can then be tracked and recorded as having "joined" any number of sub-sites. The Master Site and Sub Site owners can work out an affiliate fee-sharing arrangement based on each referred member.

    In sum, if you own the Master Site and all sub sites, you may not require LabAffiliate. If different parties own the Master Site and Sub Sites, and there is a membership fee involved in joining, then you will certainly want LabAffiliate and LabConnect.
