Backup and Migration Tool... Sneak Peek!
For anyone looking to backup their NG network data on to their own hard drive, or better still, to migrate their network or data over to SocialGo... we're about a week or so out from the final release version of our free tools.

Easy Backup and Migration of Content.
Today, we offer simple CSV exports of Member Data that any Network Creator can access from your Manage Members page with a click. We will soon offer a similar mechanism for content so that it won’t require a sophisticated understanding of our APIs to back-up or migrate the content of your network somewhere else.

We'll be posting our full "review" of the FIASCO at Ning shortly... until then, say goodbye to all your relatives and friends, the Ning PRISON SHIP has just left the port, and NO ONE is getting off with their DATA anytime soon!
Never fear though, the LAB still has a full bag of tricks up our sleeves.... ;)
unfortunately Ning locked the doors and threw away the key... so you won't be able to use any outside products such as our Safety Blanket for migration or backup. We guess they just didn't want you to have anything that would let you leave with YOUR data?

Good news is that we have alternative methods of helping you to migrate to SocialGO if you like. Please let us know if you are interested. Start by getting a copy of your member CSV file from your Ning site and we can go from there.<p/><p>
