SocialGo Feature Review - Member Data Sharing and Privacy

"LAST SEEN" feature is STANDARD on SocialGo!

No Need to worry about adding a widget to discover when the last time a friend or site member was online... it's built right into SocialGo! (now it's called "Last Online")
IT'S ALIVE... IT'S ALIVE!!

After a short-lived period of hibernation, the DNA from our dearly-departed Who-IM was carefully transplanted into a donor host and replicated.
The result is that we have now produced a fully functioning Who-IM on SocialGo, that you can enjoy here on the LAB (IT IS NOT YET RELEASED FOR SOCIALGO GENERAL USE!). At the same time, through the miracles of modern medicine, we also brought the dead back to life...
For those of you who "must have" Who-IM on that other network... your wish is our command. We have brought Who-Imstein back to LIFE!!! This IS available for all those "other" networks to use live while you await our final release here on SocialGo.
WHO-IM found murdered this morning...

So sad...
Guess it is tough in the Valley these days to be innovative.... but MURDER?
Palo Alto Police have reported that Who-IM was found dead in its Silicon Valley home at 735 Emerson Street this morning, the victim of an apparent homicide.
Witnesses say that Who-Im was last seen around 10pm PDT last evening, working hard to make certain Network Creators very happy... as was its usual way. Sometime thereafter, the lifeless body of Who was found by friends, slumped over a text box on thousands of sites.
Investigators have some leads, but presently believe that there was a conspiracy plot by a gang of thugs known to use a four letter synonym standing for "PEACE" as their name. No one has yet to be charged in the incident, but authorities believe it is only a matter of time before the perpetrators are known and formally identified.
In the meantime, there is good news from this tragedy. Insiders have reported that there is a secret Laboratory operating in Bratislava, Slovakia that has discovered a way to create NEW LIFE from the DNA of Who-IM. As such, it is believed that an entirely new and improved version of Who (and all of the other network functions in its family line) will be once-again alive and kicking.
In order to ensure their protection from similar attack and vindictive behavior against the Network Creators that offer them shelter, these fresh young widgets will be given homes in the safe harbor of the SocialGo network.
SocialGo Feature Review - Member Status Indicator
Evil G. demonstrates how SocialGo has a built-in Status Indicator that can be used for "Twitter" type functionality. Members can show each other what they are doing at the moment. Likewise, EG demonstrates how SocialGo allows you display membership status across the network and sort/filter members by their current status.
SocialGo Feature Review - Default Profile Photos

Right out of the Box, SocialGo provides you with the choice of using any one of several "Default" Images for your own profile. This means that your network members are not limited to using one standard image, nor are they (gasp...) stuck with using the "grey ghost" image!
SocialGo Feature Review - Group Privacy Settings

One very important distinguishing feature with SocialGo is the fact that Groups are VERY powerful! By default you have the following feature set:
- Member Privacy
- Ability to change or Transfer the Group Ownership rights
- Content and Member Control - So that you can keep content inside of Groups that may not be suitable for display on the rest of your general network (i.e. - private, subscription, or adult content)
SocialGo Feature Review - Upcoming Birthdays
Upcoming Birthdays and Super Admin control over member data are both standard features of the Socialgo platform. Evil G. briefly demonstrates how to use these features and why they provide a superior user and Network Creator Experience.
Tips from the LAB - Super Admin Functions for Network Creator

One of the best STANDARD features on SocialGo is the ability of the Network Creator to have TRUE Admin authority over all members. This means that the Network Creator can:
- Edit any aspect of a member's profile;
- Edit any aspect of a member's Geocoded Location Data;
- Edit any aspect of a member's Photo/Video data upload;
As a result, on SocialGo the Network Creator is truly IN CHARGE of their own site, and is able to both HELP as well as MANAGE the members.
SocialGo believes that you are SMART ENOUGH to be trusted with control over your own network and membership. That is the kind of respect you deserve.
